La última cena, M. Pugliese
In this portfolio I present a series of images of the work of Matteo Pugliese focused on the representation of the Last Supper, inspired by the painting of Leonardo da Vinci. The peculiarity of this series is that it focuses solely in the hands of the characters, where you will find all the expressiveness and meaning of the scene. Through photography, sculpture, and the reproduction of sculpture, the hands are shown both in the group as isolated, exploring different angles and perspectives that offer a new interpretation of the masterpiece by Da Vinci. Each image seeks to highlight the strength, the tension and the emotion contained in the gestures, bringing the viewer to a renewed experience of contemplating the sculpture and a reinterpretation of the classic so intimate and contemporary.
