I custodi

The series of I Custodi Matteo Pugliese presented a series of sculptures that explore the figure of the guardian as a symbol of protection, resistance, and cultural memory. These works, carried out on various materials such as bronze, terra-cotta and marble, showing figures robust and solemn, inspired by various cultures and eras, from samurai to warriors etruscans. Each piece is carefully shaped to convey a sense of strength and presence, with details that highlight the musculature and the upright posture of the characters. The photography of these sculptures capture the essence of each guardian, focusing on the details that define your character and symbolic function. The pictures show the figures from different angles, highlighting the texture of the materials and the interaction of light with sculptured surfaces. This approximation photo allows the viewer to appreciate the complexity and expressiveness of the works, offering a new perspective on the interpretation of the figure of the guardian in the contemporary art. Each photograph not only documents the sculpture, but also interprets its meaning, inviting you to reflect on the role of these "guardians" in the society and in the collective memory. The series of I Custodi is presented as a meditation visual on the protection, identity and resilience through the universal language of sculpture and photography.
